This notice explains how Kazi Board handles information in your account and workspace.

Information we collect

We collect the account details you provide, such as your name and email address, as well as career records, preferences, job-search activity, application drafts, employer job briefs, candidate-search history, recruitment stages, recruiter notes, interview details, reference-check details, and offer drafts that you choose to store in Kazi Board.

How we use it

We use this information to run your Candidate or Employer workspace, generate the career and recruitment materials you request, rank relevant opt-in candidate profiles against employer briefs, deliver employer-approved recruitment messages, send account-related messages, and improve the service. Kazi Board does not submit job applications, make hiring decisions, or send recruitment messages without the employer’s explicit review and approval.

Employer discovery and contact

Candidate profiles are excluded from employer search unless the candidate explicitly enables employer discovery in their profile. Employer results may show the candidate’s chosen name, target role, location, professional summary, and matched strengths. Contact details and the full CV are not shown. Recruitment invitations require a separate candidate opt-in and are delivered through Kazi Board’s protected email relay without showing the candidate’s email address. Candidates may disable profile discovery or future relay contact at any time.

Marketing consent

At signup, you may separately choose to receive Kazi Board job-search tips, product news, and occasional updates. Only accounts that explicitly opt in are included in the marketing contact list. You may turn this off at any time from your profile.

Service providers

When you request AI features, the information needed to create that result is sent to the configured AI service. Employer recruitment drafting uses the job brief and the privacy-limited candidate profile, not the candidate’s hidden contact details or full CV. When email delivery is enabled, the email provider receives the recipient address only to deliver the approved message. Providers may process information only to provide those requested services.

Retention and control

Your workspace information is kept while your account remains active, subject to operational backups and legal obligations. You can request account or data deletion through the contact channel published at kaziboard.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect account information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private and review generated documents before sharing them.
